Timesharetalk is a free site. However, as with many things in this world today, it does cost money to run. Servers, applications, bandwidth, development - it all costs money. Unlike other web sites, we do not charge for membership, we rely on advertising revenue and donations to help run the site and develop new areas and projects for the future for the benefit of our members. Please note, I myself and any other members of the admin team do NOT take any money ourselves. We give our free time (what little we have) for free.

We also operate the Timesharetalk membership rewards scheme. This scheme is unique to Timesharetalk and allows us to give something back to you for your support and input to the site. The idea is quite simple really; The points system allows you to earn points by interactively participating on the site. At the end of the year (midnight on 31st December), the member with the highest number of points wins.

Now 5p per point may not sound that much, but it could soon add up. If you started 50 topics and also wrote 500 replies, then that would be -

(50 x 10) + (500 x 5) = 3000 points = £150 !
