FTC Nets $18.7M Win In Suit Over Timeshare Resales

Law360 (May 1, 2018, 4:09 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge handed the Federal Trade Commission a win Monday in its suit over an alleged timeshare reselling scheme that duped property owners out of more than $17 million, banning the business owners from marketing their services and ordering them to pay the FTC $18.7 million.

U.S. District Judge Gregory A. Presnell stipulated in his final judgment and order that Pro Timeshare Resales of Flagler Beach LLC and J. William Enterprises LLC and their owners John P. Wenz Jr. and Jess Kinmont, respectively, must.
