We are back and Lanzarote was great.
Before we left for Lanzarote we knew there was no room for us at club calypso, we managed to book a week at rocas apartments and a week with diamond club calypso. Rocas apartments not recommended.
At DDC we had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was spotless well equiped every thing was perfect. Danny was run off his feet the club was very busy the entertainment was on every night apart from Thursday, and besides the weather which was very windy we could not ask for anything more.
We will definately be making enquiries into buying with diamond club calypso as we still love the place.
As to 1 to 16 apartments we did not see one single person there and also did not hear any dogs barking but it is the locals winter and as most of the apartments are sold as second homes or holiday apartments obviously the owners where not there.
We are now chasing our refund for the 2 weeks we paid for and did not recevie with CC and of course further investigation
into what has happened to our 1 week ownership and 1 week Elite.

as far as i know all elite apartments at club calypso have now been sold to private residents and karen and carol have been sacked,so you wont get any replies to your e mails

Our latest update,
Firstly to Limpy 130 the good news is we have sent 9 emails and recived 14 back from CC. The bad news is they refuse to refund our £650 we paid in maintanance for our January 2012 holiday they could not provide. They insist it stays in credit as Elite clubs are alive and we can book with them later on this year or next year. AS IF.

What the emails tell us is that Elite clubs are under new Directorship and the Directors names are :

WE THINK MR M GATES COPIED THESE OF A PACKET OF COUSCOUS.

New management...yeah right!!
1. How can they have new management for a club that has no apartments - they are now all sold.
2. If the Elite club is now under new management why has that management not contacted the existing members?
3. I strongly urge all Elite members; please, please keep hold of your hard earned cash...do not pay anything to Gates or the Elite Club!!
4. Sadly and I hate to admit it but the Elite Club is dead!! The only way to remain a member of Club Calypso now is to join DCC.
5. Anyone who has not joined the Club Calypso Action Group please do so (see my earlier posts).

I heard that Danny has bought one of the apartments and that this apartment (no 14 I think) is for use by Elite members. I also think that MAYBE some of the new owners may be willing to let their apartments, perhaps through Danny, so possibly Elite members could use those. Only Danny (or of course MG) could clarify that. But it does look as if MG is still trying to extract money from unsuspecting Elite members.

Does anyone have a address and email address for the so called new director?

I think I will phone Mr Gates at his stables to find out whats going on and get it from the houses mouth so to speak (no pun intended). That's if he will speak to me?

I have been looked into the small claims court in the UK if we can link Mr Gates directly to CC. Has anyone got evidence linking him since my CC cert was signed by another person.

The email address is the same as it has always been on all the paper work from CC. This forum will not allow me to put it on here.
I am sure there is no new Directorship, its MG still running it and he is refusing to give me the £650 back. I can link MG to CC, no point calling him he will not speak to anyone.
NORMO can you call me on 01608 661190 regarding your Action Group. I live about 9 miles away from MG's Stud Farm, I also have a lot of useful information which I can't put on this forum,

I took the decission straight away when Gates was not able to honour my requseted weeks in the appartment I had brought with the Elite Club. DCC offered me a good deal and I have had two good holidays since and looking forward to this years Xmas and New Year

We have now signed up and paid up and are DCC members.
DCC AGM is on Saturday 8th June at 2.00pm, in Market Harbourough Football Club, as members we are invited, unfortunately we are away and cannot attend. We have had a message from DCC to pass on to anyone that was a member with M.Gates and lost their timeshare with him. If any of those members are still interested in DCC and would like to attend the AGM from approx 3.30pm, the Committee will be happy to answer any questions and anyone interested in future ownership with DCC will be made a special offer on the day.

The correct date for Diamond Club Calypso AGM is Sat 9th June and lots of free parking.
