Contacted by a Brian Croker representing Ramirez & Ramirez Legal Consultants supposedly in order to recover money scammed by rogue Timeshare companies etc. tel number is 0034 952 664151 and webite is Specialist-lawyers.com (registered 21/10/2009). I believe this company was previously known as 'Legal Specialists Advisory Service SL'.

I suspect this is another rogue company preparing to scam me and I won't be having anymore dealings with them. has anyone else had any dealings with this company.

I have also been contacted by a politely spoken lady, Rebecca Harrison, from R&R regarding adding my claim to a Class Action that they are preparing against {banned word/phrase} Holidays (snarl).  After a little Googling I have learned that R&R's scam is a friendly approach along the above lines, asking you to fax or email your agreement and billing documents from the offending timeshare scammers that blagged you in the past.  The next step is a call from their legal dept and an invitation to shell out in the region of 700-1200 Euros to have your documents translated for the court.

So, it's just another play on the old model.  Very likely it's the same sh17h3ap5 that did the original scams trying to screw you for a few dollars more.  Thankfully, most timeshare owners are catching on - so help spread the gospel according to the patron saint of Anti-Scammers.  Tell them where to park their scam and don not, I repeat do not, part with any of your hard earned filthy money!!

these fraudsters have just been on to me again for the second time this week. I checked them out with the chap from TCA. He has helped out in the past to recover money from Gold Crown Resorts back in 2002. I asked him last year about Evemont Consulting and was saved from being ripped off by good advice. His website is here

absolutely fabulous old gentleman

well done to all contributors for continuing to thwart the efforts of lazy sons of B*****s who just cant get a regular job for regular money and resort to stealing. thanks to all.
Advice given

Stay Away from anyone that calls You about Casback or Reclaim or Timeshare Resales

I thought this company had gone a bit quiet but on investigation this is not the case"
Times must be getting desperate!
Had a phone call earlier, twice this week and come to think of it, we have been having appr one call, sometimes two a month from Ramirez & Ramirez Legal Consultants this year.
This guy (did not catch his name) said he was representing R & R Legal Consultants and were recovering money that was scammed by rogue Timeshare companies etc.
Told the guy that we send all our correspondence on this matter to TATOC, did not seem very happy on my statement!
Dialed 1471,International call, caller withheld the number.
John.

We were contacted last week by a person by the name of Jo Reed who was working for a legal firm of Raminez & Raninez.
She said that the firm was fighting a claim against the former owners of Designer Way Vacation Club, €ashback Promotions and Timelinx. She would send me an email with links to the firm’s website for the firms history etc..

She said that the Spanish courts had seized the assets of the company and had confiscated the English owner’s passports. She asked me to email her a copy of our records as attachments. She would like them that day if possible, as the lawyers were going to court the next morning.
I received an email to say        Good evening. Your documentation is complete, and will be assessed. Have a good weekend. Kind regards Jo Reed
A few day later I received another call from a very well spoken lady by the name of Sandy Tullett telling me that I had a very good case and that I would get all my money plus some of the cashback deal if I carry on the claim. To do this, the firm need to fund translation costs and court fees and would need a down payment of €1485.
To stall thing a bit I told her that I couldn’t pay her all at the moment. She then offered me to pay half now and the rest later. I also said that I needed to speak to my wife first. She offered to call back later.
I was all set up to pay by credit card (as she had suggested due to Spanish Law) when I searched the internet for more information. Luckily I stumbled across this web site.
She rang back not 5 min after me reading this and another site and I told her that I couldn’t find the money and that in fact I was financially embarrassed. She suddenly became uninterested in me and said goodbye.
That was a close shave.... I am a little disappointed about not getting some money back but relieved not to have fallen for another scam, all due and credit to this forum
Regards
Taff.

Well done.  No legitimate Spanish law firm is allowed to cold call anybody.
If you have found the advice I have given useful and I have saved you some money, perhaps you would like to make a donation to the Prostate Cancer Charity, mentioning my name. (www.prostate-cancer.org.uk)
