We have been GVC/The Former Company/Diamond members for many years and have had some wonderful holidays. We are now retired. We have 8000 points and our membership fee is £432 and our points fee is £540. We can't afford it.
We have holidays booked in Portugal and Majorca this current season after which we intended to sell our stake. However, we find that there are restrictions applying to the sale of Diamond points. We can only sell points to existing members. According to Diamond Hospitality Team, any existing member that takes our points will not have to pay any additional management fee (£432/an) but will thereafter need to pay the additional Points fee of £540/an.
We offer to transfer at no cost our 8000 points from 2012 onwards through Diamond under their standard procedure to any existing owner and will in addition, pay the new owner £1080, being 2 years points fee at current prices on completion of the transaction confirmed by Diamond.
The first existing member to accept this generous offer will be accepted and the terms will be confirmed by return. Any subsequent offers received by us on more advantageous terms to ourselve will not then be considered.
