Buying timeshare from an auction site

I am considering buying a timeshare week on e-bay. I am worried about outstanding debts, maintenance, etc.  Has anyone bought in this way?  Can anyone advise how I would know if any debts were outstanding and if I would have to pay them if I puchased without being aware of them?

What is the resort, week number, and unit number and I can check for you ljl.

The resort is Club La Costa at Marina del Sol, week 10. I don not know what unit number it is but will ask and get back to you.

I e-mailed to find out the unit number but have not had a reply as yet.  The auction ends soon so I think that I will just leave that one and keep looking.

What other auction sites include timeshare?  Three that I have seen are www.bidshares.com , www.auctionwise.com , and www.bidorbuy.co.za

FInd the resort you want, check into costs to buy (realtor fees etc.) then write the resort directly and ask them if fees are paid, and open escrow at resortclosings.com  $650. for a clear title and you split it with the seller.  Or get them to go low enough and you pay all the escrow fees - easy and safe!!  

I have done this many times!  Have one currently being handled by this group.

If you're interested I'm selling my gold crown resort 'Club Cala Blanca' on Gran canaria cheap. I've been trying to find a permanent swap as I do like Time shre and have travelled as far a field as Phillippines, But now I have a family and live in france My resort is not suitable, and getting there is a logistical nightmare!!
