Interval International has purchased independent exchange company Trading Places International, which is also involved in resort management for a number of resorts in Mexico, Hawaii, and the western US.

TPI's rep on another site has said that the purchase is by II's parent company but that TPI will continue to be operated seperately from II, and neither will have access to the other's inventory.  As to whether that arrangement will be temporary or long term, only time will tell.
