Boss Man

I stayed at Son Antem in summmer 2003. It was an exceptional standard though lacking on amenities for teenagers. Young kids had a large playground and pool.
The villas were clean and well equipped. Each villa is in a block of about 8 properties which all share a pool.
Could be noisy if you had screaming kids next door.
Some of the villas would be quite a long walk from the actual hotel complex.
The main restaurant was very expensive, but the smaller one at the bar was very good value for money, casual and had a good atmosphere.
They will do take-away pizza too. The on-site shop was very poorly stocked and several trips to the supermarket are required for self-catering.

You need a car when staying at Son Antem. The supermarket is in Llucmajor about 3-4 miles away. They sell everything you need.
Parking in Palma was madness, so get the hotel free bus or a taxi. It's about 20 minutes drive.

The resort also provides a free bus to a local beach but we didn't make use of it. In hindsight, we should have, as parking at the beach areas was also difficult. I had my mother with me who has walking problems, hence the need to drive everywhere - but it was very stressful!
